Summer Opportunity Workshop for High School Students

At this workshop you will:

• View a powerpoint program with photos and videos of exciting summer programs here and abroad
• Discover there is a program to match your talents, interests and goals
• Look at college applications to see what colleges want to know about how you spend your summers
• Examine the college essays of other students and see how they used their summer experiences as a springboard for creative expression ( and find out what colleges they got in)
• Meet students who have completed challenging summer programs and service projects
• Learn how to schedule your summer to include work, a family vacation and a summer program

Student Workshop on Resumes and Interviewing Skills

• Learn how to prepare resumes for internships and college applications
• Find out how to make the best impression in college and work interviews

Workshops are presented at the University of Richmond and St. Christopher's School.
