will speak about summer study/travel/service programs specifically
designed for high school and middle school students. Learn how
summer opportunities tap into your child's interests and enhance the
college application.

Workshop for High School Students
At this workshop you will:
- View a
powerpoint program with photos and videos of exciting summer
programs here and abroad
- Discover there
is a program to match your talents, interests and goals
- Look at college
applications to see what colleges want to know about how you spend
your summers
- Examine the
college essays of other students and see how they used their summer
experiences as a springboard for creative expression ( and find out
what colleges they got in)
- Meet students
who have completed challenging summer programs and service projects
- Learn how to
schedule your summer to include work, a family vacation and a summer
program
