Our son, Jack, had a great experience in a summer
Spanish program thanks to Educational Expeditions. He feels more
confident in his ability to speak
Spanish and he had a lot of fun, too. We had searched the internet and
asked educators for recommendations but you were the only one who found
exactly what our son needed. Not only did he receive credit for the
course,
he is contemplating a second summer there. Thanks for your expert help.

Educational Expeditions
introduced us to an internship on Capitol Hill specially designed for
high school students. Louise Bates visited the program to make sure it
was a good match for our son. After an educational and fun internship in
Congressman Jerry Forbes’ office, our son capitalized on the experience
by using the internship as material for his college essays, and also
discovering that he wants to major in Political Science at Davidson
College.

Educational Expeditions
helped my son find a summer program that focused on his talents in
theater. The director, Louise Bates, visited several programs in New
York before making a recommendation on what would be best for Evan. In
addition, she did all the paperwork. Evan was accepted in the program of
his choice within one week of applying.

Mrs. Bates’ Summer Opportunity Workshop
at the University of Richmond helped me focus on the connection between
the college admissions and what you do in the summer. This summer I am
looking forward to participating in a community service project in the
Southwest.

We had a great summer studying French in the South
of France thanks to the help of Educational Expeditions. It made us feel
better that Mrs. Bates had previously visited our program.

Participating in a community service program at
Tanglewood, home of the Boston Symphony, strengthened my interest in
music composition. I later returned to Tanglewood as a student and then
as a fellow. Pursuing my musical interests in the summer helped me
decide on my college major and career choice.

Working with American Indians in South Dakota was
a great experience. It helped me realize there are many cultures and
needs within our own country.
